Join us on Saturday, September 16th for a private cocktail lunch experience in one of Detroit’s most beautiful spaces.
Quintessential Classic Sours: Daiquiri & Whiskey Sour
The afternoon will start and end with punch.
We will begin with a brief description and history of the various classifications of cocktails.(Sour, Cooler, Flip, etc.) what they mean to modern cocktails, and how we use their structure when creating drinks for our menu. We will then go over shaking techniques, the use of a strainer, how to use eggs, why we use eggs, and substitutions for egg white. You’ll have an opportunity to recreate the traditional recipes or experiment with your own creations. Best of all, you’ll get to name your cocktails!
An array of snacks and light bites will be offered. A menu will be posted next week after we transition to our next seasonal dinner menu.
