Our home is one of downtown Detroit's most striking rooms. The Wright-Kay Building opened in 1891 as the Schwankovsky Temple of Music, designed by Gordon W. Lloyd as one of the first high-rises on Woodward, and later housed the Wright Kay jewelers who gave the room its name.

Our second floor keeps that character: exposed brick, tall bay windows over Woodward, and a crystal chandelier at its center. It carries a sense of place a blank ballroom cannot borrow, and it becomes the backdrop for every event we host.

The food is led by Chef and Partner Marc Djozlija, a James Beard Award nominee, with the composed, shared-plates cooking that became Wright & Company's signature.

Every event is cooked in-house by that same kitchen and served reception style, passed bites and stations built around your night rather than a fixed banquet list.

Wright & Company's bar is one of Detroit's most respected cocktail programs, drawn from the Detroit Optimist Society 100 Classics.
